After mixing tequila with a can of frozen limeade during a ski trip in the early 1980s, Ed knew there had to be a better way. What began as a personal quest for the perfect margarita became a lifelong passion.

That passion only grew after Ed discovered Mexico. Its people, culture, food, and world-class tequila became a cherished part of his family's life. Year after year, Ed, his late wife Barb, and their daughters returned to celebrate Christmas, spending afternoons on the patio overlooking the ocean, sharing margaritas and watching whales migrate along the coast. Those memories inspired him to create a mixer worthy of the tequila he loved.

Over the years, Ed refined his recipe, relying on family and friends as willing taste testers until he achieved the balance of fresh citrus flavor and premium ingredients he had been searching for. The result is EZE's Top Shelf Mixers.
